Pysanky Traditional Easter Egg Painting

Age 10 and up are welcome if accompanied by an adult
You will be melting wax over an open flame using a traditional Kystka then dipping your egg in a variety of authentic egg dye baths.

For this first time experience you will be guided to paint a many layered design each layer building on the previous.
If you have attended previous workshops you can work on a variety of other designs with light support from the instructor.

We are using a whole raw egg which will eventually dry out until there is a small hard ball inside.

This is a meditative and enjoyable process with the end result a keepsake to hand down to future generations.
